RUNT TOUR 2025
Magical RUNT Tour Shout Outs
Hey Friends! We were teleported back to Feral Cat Studios and boy oh boy! What a tour! Our RUNT tour ended up being a full-blown perfect puppy tour, and we made some magical new friends, reunited with old friends, and were showered with some legendary music that we absolutely need to share with you all! This tour was the fastest we’ve ever put together—under two weeks—and by the power of Grayskull, it was the best ever!

Tour Diary
March 6 – On our way to Anaheim, we stopped off at Harris Ranch Express BBQ… OMG Becky! We both had the best sandwiches, jalapeño cornbread, and mac & cheese! Don’t eat until you get there! We played the world-famous Doll Hut in Anaheim, CA, and yes, we experienced the first big rain! (Last summer, we got the crazy heatwave.) But what a show! So much fun! We got to connect with Punk As A Doornail, who we saw play in SF almost 20 years ago—they inspired us! You gotta check them out—OMG, face-melting! If you’re in Woodland, CA, be sure to catch them on April 12 at The Stag. A big highlight was meeting the members of Naughty Women, OC ’77 Sleaze Punk legends—we were beyond thrilled! Be sure to check out their [YouTube documentary]. We had great conversations about music, records, and aliens. Shout outs to @Chris_Parties_Presents, Mike, and Dave. We had a lot of fun and will be back. Shout outs to Loco Los Angeles, Punk As A Doornail, Naughty Women, and Get in Loser—what a great night of talented and cool people!
March 7 – This is what we’re calling our “message in an internet bottle” moment. We put out a message on Threads, and big shout out to **@Mamimiscigarette** for connecting us with **@SoCalIndieMusicians**! We got to come back to the legendary Sardine with the giant photo of D. Boon above the stage—and helped Boom Puppy remember a great person. We had such a great-sounding show! The stage has a vibe, and Adam, thanks for making us sound delicious. Also, shout outs to our new band friends Warehouse One, Hobo Bridge, and OnTap. The crowd was in full party mode! Shout out to our friend Michael, who came to our second show at The Sardine, and Jenna for helping us get on the show! We cannot forget to mention the taco trucks! We went to two different ones in San Pedro—one by the dance studio and the one across the street from The Sardine—both were eyeball-rolling worthy! And you know it’s good when you hear Selena’s music.
March 8 – This was a special morning for us because it was a BIG part of the RUNT tour—it’s the spark that got us going! We wanted to support our friends The Jack Knives in their latest music video shoot. We got to be on set and experience a pro shoot. We met some awesome people, took some awesome photos, and it was everything creative and fun! The video will be out sometime next month, and we can’t wait! Shout out to The Jack Knives for the new album and upcoming tour! They’ll be doing a club night show at PRB 2025 with Hot Water Music and look for their upcoming tour with The Bouncing Souls. Shout outs to Rudy Nuno, FUME Records, and Daisy River Cookies—those were the most perfect-looking cookies we didn’t want to eat them, but we did, and they were soooo goooood! Awoooo!
With cookie power, we took off into the desert, headed to Joshua Tree! We made a pit stop in Morongo Reservation by the casino at the big Starbucks—shout outs to SB for refilling Boom Puppy’s coffee cup and the air conditioning! The big finale was La Matadora Gallery in Joshua Tree for the opening of Portals, featuring art by Mary Evans, Marion Vasquez, and Colleena Hake. We found out it was JT Art Walk night too, so it was pumpin’! We got to play in front of La Matadora Gallery, and there was a special unveiling of The Matador turning into La Matadora! There’s just something electric about singing into the desert—we were literally glowing! The biggest shout outs to The Hot Patooties—Beth Loudmouth and Shawn—for connecting us with this awesome opportunity to play Joshua Tree for the first time! And Kim from Hot Patooties for telling us that Z107.7 JT got us on the radio! Thank you, Jeff from Z107.7! Shout outs to Colleena Hake for putting on the Portals art premiere and letting us be part of it. To all the people who came out to support the JT local art and music scene—you all make the universe sparkle bright!
March 9 – We wound down with a trip to Old Pioneertown and brunch at The Red Dog! OMG! It was so yummy—we had breakfast burritos, tacos, and some of the best coffee on tour with the best soundtrack by DJ Kate McCabe. And a big surprise from Portland’s Nocturnal Submissions for getting “How Do You Know” on the show! We enjoyed all the bands, and listening to the show on the road was so much fun! Shout outs to the trusty puppy mobile for blasting us back to Feral Cat Studios.
